Default New puppy

That's great that you can visit your puppy and let him visit his new home to be. We did that with Belle too and it seemed to help. At 8 weeks the puppy is still needing his mommy and litter mates and they are still insecure, especially when they get tired. I thought Belle was going to grow to be a part of my neck and shoulder for all the time she spent cuddled there. She needs to bond with you, her new mommy. Let her pretty much do her own thing at first. When you do get to bring Skippy home, enjoy that new puppy time, it's so loving and special.
