I guess one of the reasons I am so shocked is Pixie has never had any knee issues and her vet never mentioned it. The other is Cali has had Grade 4 in both back knees and they are out most of the time and she has never not been able to walk. I know they are all different. Now I am just praying Pixie can avoid surgery and Cali remains stable. And of course their pet insurance doesn't cover LP.
I will update tomorrow. Thanks all.
Pixie's may have just occurred from some sort of trauma. maybe she hurt her knees when she fell off the bed the other day, and then she jumped off the couch today and popped her knee out? anything is possible. maybe your regular vet didn't check for them or might have mentioned it in passing but didn't make a big deal about it because most little dogs have LP?

I was PO'd that VIP didn't cover LP or MVD problems so i canceled it after going for a surgical consult to check morgan's knees. it just isn't worth it to me to keep paying them. i only have the 1 dog though, i know you have 4 now so i hope you get better use out of it then i did
