If your baby is shaking his head and or scratches his ears accompanied by not acting like himself he may have an ear infection. Sometimes the ears become red and inflamed and develop an offensive odor. A black or yellowish discharge commonly occurs as well if there is an ear infection. I hope this helps. If you have any of these sign a trip to the vet is in order as ear infections are very painful.
