I understand where you're coming from and have no idea how close your relationship is with this person. I for one would prefer selling a pet anyday of the week. I've only sold one show dog since my journey began with the Yorkshire Terrier. It's pretty easy for me since I'm breeding for myself first and any dog I deemed breeding/show quality are kept for me.
