My 1 1/2 yr. old dog will pee on his pad, but will poop off of it. Like 2-3 feet from it, or in a different room. how do I get him to go on his pad. I tried to housebreak him to go outside. He would tell you he has to go out and go sometimes. Then he would not say anything and just do his business on the floor somewhere. after about 6 months of this I gave up and decided just to let him go back to pads. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it very much.
