Good luck! Mine usually come home pretty wiped out and mostly sleep. The vet will give you specific instructions as to feeding etc. I found mine would eat a small meal later in the evening. My vet gives then a pain injection before they leave and it is good for 24 hours. Then she sends home pain medicine if needed. I used baby onesies to keep then from fussing with the incisons and it also is nice and soft for them. Usually by the next day the are much better and back to themselves in a day or two.
