Everyone wants one that is healthy yorkie, socialized & pretty. Isn't it important in breeding to achieve this the best you can? Their not a show dog? Well, it's all important. Just because they aren't being shown doesn't mean we ever take short cuts. It should always be done to improve. It makes you feel good. people can't wait until after the fact to learn. Need to know what to do before. It's a learning process.
A tail that is cut too short changes the whole outline of the breed. It's a big deal to me. Pets live a long time. Ask anyone if they have a tail too short. One of the nubs. Not what you want. Too long is bad too. I'm sure you're aware. It's rotten you went in willy nilly. We go countless years and still have mentors. It's unthinkable to me.
