More Good News About My New Dog Ivan was originally going to keep my dog another 2 weeks until she's 4 months old (because she's so tiny and he wants to take extra pracautions with her) but he said that under these circumstances (because he knows I lost my mom and Katie so tragically almost 3 weeks ago) and also because I've owned a tiny before and I know how to take care of her and what signs to look for, he will make an exception and allow me to bring her home Friday (tomorrow)!!! But he said I MUST (and he was dead serious when he said "must") NOT take her outside and I must bring her to the vet once a week for a check-up until she's 4 months old because he usually has his vet come once a week to check all his pups. He just wants to be extra careful with her and I respect this and completely agree with him. Also, she cannot be left home alone during the day while I'm at work so my grandma has volunteered to watch "her" (I still haven't given her a name yet lol) and Codie during the day while I'm at work. I will leave my grandma written instructions of her feeding schedule and Nutrical schedule and playtime schedule -- yes, I know I'm paranoid and I have too many schedules but I just want to be extra careful.
I'm so excited!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! YAYAYAYAYAY!! I'm going to post another thread on dogs names -- I've come up with a few that I like. So go check it out and help me decide what to name my little girl.
PS - I want to thank you all once again for being so supportive of me during this difficult time in my life. I'm blessed to have some wonderful friends. |
