I don’t think my heart could take Old Yeller again. I saw it as a kid and that was enough for me. This brings back memories of when my son was about 3 or 4 (he is now 20). He came running to me bawling his little eyes out. I thought he had hurt himself and kept asking what was wrong. Finally after what seemed like forever he choked out in between sobs that the kitty was dead. I mean this child’s heart was broken. Come to find out it was on TV. He was watching Milo and Otis and when the cat went over the falls he thought it drowned. He didn’t wait around to see what happened next. I had to go watch the rest of the movie with him and assure him that the kitty would be ok.
