I've had a Husky and based on personal experience, I would say the only way it's going to work is if your hubby is committed to it and willing to walk that dog twice a day for at least 45 minutes each. It would be even better if he could bike ride with it. Those dogs really need a job or they will get destructive. I also would worry about your babies as they do have a strong prey drive. Of course, maybe your new family member is different but if he's anything like the huskies I have known your hubby is going to be doing a lot of exercise. I would imagine a trainer could help too....
