Omg'sh Ann, I've got tears in my eyes, just thinking about the whole thing that happened. Praise God, your little Marcel is o.k. You know, when I was taking a hands on cpr/first aid class, I couldn't wrap my head around why you would do rescue breathing, if they were choking? Maybe you can help me understand what happened. Did the chew come up, w/the rescue breathing, or did you push it down? My thoughts were that if you pushed it down, it would go into their lungs, and that would, surely, cause asphyxiated pneumonia, later in the day. Or, do we hope, if we push the obstruction down, it will go into their stomach? Thanks for any information, and I'm soooooooooo glad with the positive outcome! Hugs, Maggie |
