I give Lady CET chews, too. I thought they were safer because they aren't solid, but "pressed" like particle board.

The trouble with pressed is that they can be broken before they are softened and cause a choking hazard. Also if swallowed before softened they can and do tear the intestines on the way through. In my opinion none of those things are safe, solid or pressed.
