Ann, I'll admit after the first two lines I skipped to the part where he was breathing again. I couldn't bear to read the entire thing. I know it was a hard thread to write, but know that we can all learn from this.

I hope you don't mind, I'm going to use this opportunity to urge members to use common sense when giving your babies any kind of chew. Never ever give them one when they are home alone because you never know when they'll need your help. I know most don't, but I think I've read a few that when they leave for work/errands/etc, they leave their baby with a chew of some kind to keep them busy. Don't do it! When the babies get the chews small enough is when they need the most supervision.
