I'm not sure there is a breed more disposed to broken legs, especially as puppies, than Italian Greyhounds. Generally puppy owners are advised to NEVER let your puppies jump from anything they can't jump on. For instance, if your puppy can't jump onto the sofa, your puppy shouldn't jump off the sofa. Letting them climb up to anything is very dangerous and your puppy can be trained to not climb.

I think I would have taken the puppy to the emergency vet, but I always prefer safe to sorry and piece of mind knowing one way or the other if my baby is okay is priceless.
