and ps...I DID say my post above was an opinion...
When we got Tessa my cocker 10 years ago she was housed in what was called a Kennel - it was actually a small scale mill in my eyes now - I didn't know better then....but if anyone were to see the conditions of some so called "Kennels" you would be ill - the noise...the smells ...the cramped cages - just make you want to cry - Dogs in Kennels are NOT happy and nothing anyone can say will make me think otherwise.
10 years ago - my husband had already purchased 2 cockers from where we got Tessa together (after I met him)
I had no idea about Mills back then - I just remember holding this tiny puppy and wanting to SAVE her from the awful place we were in - by the time we left with her.... I was crying from seeing all the baby Cocker Spaniels in all those cages ...they were ALL just pitiful......crying and just scared to death.
NOW I'd probably send the health inspectors out there - but they are no longer in business. |
