Yorkies are fearless little creatures and you have to keep an eye on them bc they will jump from anywhere!!
When I see Pixie get some place that is too high I tell her get down and if she doesn't do it I walk over and put her on the floor and say down. Pixie is 10 months now and knows the word down.
She has scared the life out of me before jumping off the kitchen table, she use to like to climb up on the chair and onto the table. The first time I saw her jump down I decided to teach her down.
They are never too young to teach them that, it could save them bad knees as well.
