Thanks for the help. In our yard here he has mulch and straw and a fenced area. When I take him to our other home, it's just open and the grass is often tall and it's always wet with dew in the morning, not to mention the rain. I'd like to have an option when the weather is bad rather than him just peeing in my carpet!

I do take him outside, he's just more interested in smelling everything than pottying. Then not 15 minutes after I bring him back in he's peed.
