I am just now seeing this thread. I am soo sorry about the loss of your Mom; that's a very hard loss. Although your loss is too recent; with time, you will be able to remember your Mom and think of the good times; and it won't hurt quite so much.
I never thought I would pray for my Mom to die; but I did - near the end. I could not stand to watch her suffer any more.
