So..... we're leaving this Wednesday for our first big international trip! We are off to the French West Indies with the whole family (9 of us travel together) .... its our annual trip - first time Remy's joining us!
Jack and I are very excited, but a little nervous as this is Remy's first flight - and there are 3 of them. Fingers crossed that all goes smoothly!!
I think we are well prepared. We've been practicing in the travel bag and *generally* Rem's well behaved at this point. I'm going to give him a dose of Benadryl that AM as per our vet which will hopefully keep him calm.
Just got his vet certificate for travel today, the microchip was tested, I've got all his food ready to be packed in a special cooler with ice so it stays frozen, got him a new life jacket, a 50 foot lead for our villa back yard, and I've got "just in case" medicines ready to go.
Hopefully we have 9 wonderful days in the sun!!!
