I am so sorry. I just lost my beloved Cody this past year due to renal failure. He had it for many years, so it is possible for them to hang in for a while. It would be hard for anyone to predict what might happen at this point. What your vet is doing is exactly what needs to be done. Fluids need to be given intravenously in order to flush the system. It is similar to doing dialysis. The rest is really up to God. I will pray for your baby .. that she will respond to the fluids. Many times they DO respond! And, yes, if she does bounce back, her diet will be very important. Take one step at a time. Right now, it is very important for the vet to try to stabilize her.

I wish I had more to offer. Losing our pups is not something we are ever prepared for. I hope that perhaps you will have some more quality time with yours.
