Many years ago I had a Rotti and when we first got her I treated her like my baby and would burp her over my shoulder everytime after she ate......
Well when she got bigger (80+pounds) she would run and jump onto my lap and burp into my face every time she she had to burp.
Used to drive me crazy till I remembered burping her over my shoulder when she was a baby, lol.
She knew that's where she was meant to burp, as "I" taught her that.
