Not sure what is wrong with her but the meds will clear up anything that could be the problem. Oh plus I had them cut down her nails because she needed it.. it's been 2 months.
We came home and told my neighbor just in case her dogs have it too and she said she has seen diarrhea since last week which means she got it from the neighbors dog since we spent the holiday weekend with them.... WTF! Don't you know if your dog has diarrhea it means something and you just let me infect my dog by insisting I bring my cuties over!!!
Also we found out the stupid neighbor put weed killer on the fence line where Gia runs and occasionally chews the grass when I am not looking! AND they never told us! I am beyond pissed off! I called the vet and told them about the weed killer just now and they said if these meds don't make her better to come back in to have them check her blood and to make sure her liver and kidneys aren't failing!!!!! I could seriously scream! I'm sure it would only take a small amount of that weed killer to make her sick. She runs the fence line(licks her paws), Chews the grass there(when I am not yelling at her to stop eating grass... I never let her out alone though..EVER), and she pulls the fence with her teeth like tug a war and barks at the neighbors dog(the weed killer is on the fence too I am sure)!
I told them next time they spray weed killer on our fence and grass please tell us so we can keep our babies away from it! My husband is so pissed he said the girls aren't going outside anymore and they are just going for walks on leashes.
Thanks for all the advice ladies |
Poor baby,
Daisy got sick one winter with the flu and we went back and forth to the vet for about 2 weeks. We thought we would save money by getting her shots done a pet co and there were so many dogs there she must of picked up something bc about 3 days later she started throwing up and diarrhea.
What the Vet told me was to make sure she drank even if I had to get chicken broth in her water to make her drink. I bought organic low sodium chicken broth and mixed it with water and offered it to her every 3hrs round the clock and then I boiled boneless chicken breast and white rice and kept her on that for about 4 days until her stools firmed up.
Hope your little one feels better soon.
