Rhetts ears aren't up completely, but I have noticed that they flop more when he isn't feeling well. Once he's up to his old self, they perk back up to their "half mast" level on their own.
If it's only been a day or two, I wouldn't worry about it. You could try adding some plain yogurt to his diet for a few days to boost up his calcium levels (after he's tolerating his regular food).
