Thanks Everyone for the advice! I truly appreciate it...special thanks to Nancy1999 and Mom To Hot Rod.

I put the bedding back in her crate yesterday afternoon and will ensure to keep something comfy for her in the crate at all times. I will continue with crating at night for now and have her crate in her xpen during the day..that way she can go lay down in her comfy bedding. Will have potty pads, toys and water laid out in the pen for her too. Will let you know how things are in a couple of weeks.
