Totally off topic but I just noticed you are close to me! I live in Rotterdam!
And yes, belly bands are wonderful. What I have done with my guy is teach him first of all what marking is. Everytime he lifts his leg outside I tell him yes, that's marking OUTSIDE, very good boy and give a treat or 2. When he lifts his leg inside I say no, no that's marking INSIDE and it took a few weeks but I haven't caught him lifting his leg inside in a week or two so I think we're on the right track. Maybe that will help you?
