 Puppy weight
I have two female yorkies, 17 months and 18 weeks. I adopted my first baby at 8 weeks and she charted the correct size according to the chart. She is now 3 lbs. My second baby did not follow the chart at all, but I think it was because she had giardia and ringworm. I adopted her at 10 weeks at 8 oz. By the chart, she shouldn't reach 1.5 lbs. I guess the medications killed the worms because at 18 weeks she is now 2 lbs 4.5 oz and still growing like a weed. Both are beautiful, healthy babies and I love them to death. If the second one was healthy when I got her, she should have charted correctly. Good luck with your baby. |
