Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has dealt with anxiety about leaving their yorkie while on vacation ? I'm leaving for Italy next week and i am having a hard time knowing i'll be away from Maggie for 2 weeks. She will be staying with my mom (her grandma) which she loves very much. Grandma lives next door to us and is a second home to Mags. I have to start packing this weekend and the thought of her looking at me with her big dark eyes while I do this breaks my heart. Am i too attached or overreacting ? Do dogs really know how long 2 weeks are ? Or will she be ok after im gone ? Has anyone else experienced this anxiety ?
I left her for 1 week last year and she was fine when I got home .. as though I had only been gone for a day.
Any type of advice would be helpful ... I don't want my baby to feel my stress.
