when someone wants to meet the fur babies, but they're walking a BIG dog?
I was walking Turbo & Princess the other day & we took a route we've never been...somewhere new to sniff! As soon as we turned a corner, there was an elderly gentleman w/a HUGE elderly dog w/a retractable leash on the other side of the st. "Oh, well let us go over & say HI" & the dog started walking towards us...so I tell him, 'OH, nOooO...they're not good w/other dogs, BYEeeee!' As we walk away, I turn back & he's trying to stop the dog, I can hear the retractable leash going & going & "Oh, stop you...where are you...". I'm thinking 'push the brakes!!' lol
Was I over reacting you think? (He did look like a sweet teddy bear.
) Better safe than sorry was all I was thinking & my cousin's Pommie getting mauled by a HUGE dog. Poor baby had to have major surgery but is all well now.
