this happened to me and i got a new harness i used to use a mesh velcro soft harness and gatsby pulled right out of it without every unfastening the velcro and we wear in the backyard when it happened he just run back in the house i cried for about 15 min about what would happen if he got loose went to the store and bought a puppia style harness i also check it everytime we leave
