IMO I think it depends on if you are selling commercial or not. We each have our own ideas of ethics. It's okay to be real skeptic & ask questions from people when you want something from them. Getting a puppy from the right breeder is how people get the right companion. Too often times people sweep things under the rug for whatever reason. Not sweeping anything under the rug.
If the show breeder want to state who they are that is their business.
You seem to think that only commerical breeders own kennels, there are also big name show breeders who also owns kennels.
The Point is that anyone who buy from a home breeder or a kennel needs to do their homework to see how the dogs are treated and cared for.
Like I said there are good and bad breeders and just because someone is registered with USDA does not mean they are bad breeders.
