I have a plastic drawer thing I keep in the closest with 3 drawers for his stuff... anyways I came to realize how ridiculous it was all the stuff he has! ONE dog... and he's got like 4-5 harnesses, probably 8-10 collars, a bunch of shampoo's and shampoo samples, a bunch of food samples (he either didn't like, or we didn't use, yet I still keep them in a baggy...) a few different plastic food bowls (I find these for cheap like $1, and can't pass them up) and just ... a variety of things. He doesn't have too many clothes, I'm good in that area... lol. Just a few jackets for winter and maybe 5 tshirts that he never wears but I buy anyways lol.
But every time I see something cheap in the store or whatever, I just can't pass it up! Oh, let's not forget the whole basket of toys he has that he rarely plays with... totally insane! But of course he's worth it. The way I look at it, if I ever get a 2nd dog, I will be pretty much set in supplies!
I just wanted to be sure I'm not the only crazy one or maybe I am? |
I have two babies now Bambino (pure bred Yorkie) and Lulu (yorkie/min pin)
With Bambino he had EVERYTHING. Toys Galore! Of which he only liked and plays with three. Polo's , Halloween costumes, tanks,2 leashes, 2 collars 2 blankets. 2 beds and some old pillows we gave him to sleep on the floor. My one guilty pleasure is I got him a Burberry Cashmere turtleneck sweater which he wears during winter and loves!
Lulu has dresses and a doggie bad two blankets, some toys from Bambino that he never wanted and actually one of his beds is now hers since he didn't like it as much as his new one (its brand new, hardly used) and that's all for now but I can feel my hand itching every time I go into a puppy boutique here!
Ugh now I feel bad, but this was therapeutic...lol
You're not the only one.
