Something crazy happened yesterday. I was on the city bus waiting to get to the terminal so that I could catch the Greyhound to Cleveland. So, halfway through my bus trip, an older man get's on the bus. A yorkie in a pink/green dress hops on behind him

He goes to explain to us (while the bus driver trying to put the dog off) that the dog just started following him, and that its almost been hit 3x since the dog has been following him. So, the bus driver doesn't know what to do..
Make a long story short..I've been wanting a dog like this (been researching and recently been in contacts w/ a local breeder) for about 5 years now. I took a deep breath and said, "I'll take her"..and the bus driver allowed me to keep the dog, long as I could keep it secure in my purse..(sigh in my fave Brahmin bag too)
So now I have this dog here. She's been with me for 2 weeks (come this Saturday) I've already taken her to the vet. She had no microchip. I've called all the local shelters, even posted an ad on CL. No one has come forward.
I've been wanting a dog like this for quite a long time, and I love her to pieces! I'm still trying to be optimistic that I find her rightful owner(s) though.
Thoughts, advice, suggestions appreciated.
