Sorry I do have a computer, but I don't have an internet connection. Right now I am visiting my mom so I can get on.
Regular poison control for humans will refuse to give advice for animal cases. The animal poision control center number is (888) 426-4435. They charge you a $65 fee. (Here is their website:
ASPCA | Animal Poison Control Center)
If you take your pet into an emergency clinic because they have ingested something harmful, your vet will sometimes call the same poison control number to get information on the substance, and they will charge you $130 for it instead of the $65. (At least my E-vet does this.) So.. they advised me to call ahead before I came in. I wrote down the case # from the poison control hotline and my vet was able to call them back. The hotline knew exactly what % of the substance was in the glue, how harmful it was, etc.. so the vet would know how to treat the dogs.
I found out later that there is a poison control hotline for pets that only charges $35. Here is the number for that one: 1-800-213-6680. (And their website:
Pet Poison Helpline)
