Your story scares me as my vet has said he will spay my 6 mth old next week, and do all her shots (breeder "forgot" to give any shots after 8 weeks), and microchip. She is a big girl for 6 mths, about 9 or 10 lbs, but now I am very nervous about all this at the same time. |
DO NOT do a spay and shots same day that is dangerous. The body needs to heal from the spay so either do the shots prior to spay or after the body has healed from the spay. You never do vaccinations when the body is not 100% as that is dangerous.
