Like Barney said, do what you think is best for your pup. It's better than her going off food completely. Since you asked for opinions, I think there is better food out there for our pupsters. Both Royal Canin and Science Diet are way to greasy feeling for me. If I can feel the grease, it makes me want to cringe. I digress, as long as she is eating, has no tummy aches, and her poops are nice and firm there really isn't that big of a problem.
