It does appear to me that you have a small infection going on there. I don't think it's necessary to call the emergency vets, but I would definitely take her in first thing tomorrow.
Keep an eye on it for any spreading of the redness, drainage or a foul odor.
Dissolvable stitches should disappear on their own in about 2 weeks, but it isn't unheard of for them to take a month. |
