are you giving her cosequin? If not ask your vet about that to try to avoid or prolong surgery if you can but if she is in pain alot or lifting let you many not have a choice but i would at least start with that before going into surgery as it is not an easy surgery. They move bones sometimes etc it is pretty intense and i would only have a board certified ortho do it too as they have further education in this surgery than a vet
