I agree with the folks who believe that a Yorkie is a dog and it is not necessary to carry them while outside. They need the exercise and walking is good for them. I have a neighbor who has a Bichon (which is twice the size of my Bailey) who bought a stroller for her dog. I see her walking with the dog in the stroller and I really don't like it. I know alot of Yorkie owners are doing the same thing.
I will probably get some flak here about my opinion, but I feel the only time to pick them up outside is if there is a danger (a big dog, etc.). I've never experienced Bailey wanting to be carried when we are outside. She enjoys her walks. |
