Jackson never had bordatella vaccine until he was over a year old. But I've been taking him to pet stores since he was probably 5 months old, dog parks since 6 months old and he never got anything (he had DHPP and rabies of course). He got kennel cough once but it was from being at my dads house and there were a ton of dogs that roam around that he came in contact with and one had it. He also has always walked on the floor and never got anything. We try to go to a pet store at least once every 2 weeks.
