If you need support hopefully one of your siblings could fit the bill this time.
Check out the house, look for safety issues for a small dog, that way next trip you'll be more relaxed and he'll be safe if you do happen to get distracted.
Might be better to introduce him to the big dog after he's neutered anyway.

My thoughts exactly. You already have enough emotional unknowns to deal with on this trip...why add more stress and possibly have Pann in a stressful and/or unsafe situation. Scope it out and think about it for the next time. So sorry you are having to go through this...sounds like you have more responsibility and maturity in your pinky finger than your dad has in his whole body. Best of luck to all of you in this crappy situation that you didn't ask for.
