I'm glad to hear that everyone's dogs are safe. My dog was attacked by a silky last year at an outdoor garden shop and hasn't gotten over it. It was the owners dog.. She is afraid of all dogs now except my friend's Yorkie. I've taken her to Yorkie Meet-Ups and that seems to be helping a little. She had another close call where a huge mixed breed came running from his yard. You can lift the dog up if you are able too, but if a large agressive dog wants your dog, it will hurt you to get to it. I now carry Citronella Spray. I thought about Pepper Spray but my situation doesn't warrant it at this time. I guess it depends on the neighborhoods you frequent. If anyone wants to carry Pepper Spray you should check with your local Police Dept. to see if it's allowed and if you need a license. I don't need a permit or license here for the Citronella Spray. Good Luck out there everyone, and have a safe summer.
