I fought w/Apple and kibble until the was 10 months old...I'd put a little yogurt on it, a little juice from some mercury free salmon, a little of this and a little of that, just to get down about a 1/4 cup a day...I switched brands, from Innova, to everything holistic on the market...She only weighed 4 1/2 lbs....Finally, I switched her to raw, and she immediately gained 1/2 lb....She loved raw! At 12 months, she was spayed, and now eats raw in the a.m. and Acana kibble in the p.m....My little boy Buzz, however, will eat nothing but raw...I tried to give him a.m. raw and p.m. kibble for 8 days, and he refused the kibble..Since he was getting too thin, he won, and now he gets raw twice a day
