Op, I'm with you....my best idea is using better treats. Dogs seem to prefer things that are warm and smelly, so maybe a tiny piece of chicken or (lord, please don't shoot me for this) hot dog? There is NOTHING my Yorkie won't do for a smidge of hot dog!
