Welcome to YT! Thank you for rescuing and opening your heart and home to this little guy. I believe that CA is much more liberal then other states about bringing your pup into the stores. My suggestion would be to get a nice bag and you will not have any problems in the future. I think the one place that it is frowned upon would be grocery stores.
