If you hold the phone so it is wide instead of up and down, the keypad is actually bigger. Plus there is an app that you can get..."better keyboard" that will make the keyboard work more quickly and more efficiently-battery wise. Now, I don't have my phone yet so I can only repeat what the said from hearsay. The other salesman tried his phone and did say it was actually better than normal.
The virtual keypad was not hard to use when you had it at this angle, bigger keys and less misdialing.
