You can take 5MP still photos, but they're no better quality than a cell phone.

Really... mine zooms? Not very much, granted, but it does zoom maybe like 4xish and it doesn't get too blurry or shaky. I agree though - it's a great little camera for the beach, etc and not worry about it breaking.
