You will never be able to train her not to climb out of pens or fencing..a climber, climbs forever unless they gain too much weight. I have had a few...all you can do is make her life as safe as possible. Use pens with a top.
I never had any luck teaching them not to climb on furniture and jump off...maybe I am hopeless at training, but I have done everything..now I make them safe. Some got well behaved when I was in the room, but once I left, my husband said they did as they pleased.
My friend had a male, Mickey who used to climb her 6 ft privacy fence..that is how I met Shirley...Mickey climbed out and a neighbor found him...knew I had Yorkies and thought he was mine...neighbor puts Mickey over my fence with my 4..I looked outside and counted FIVE...what a day we had..LOL I went door to door until I found Shirley...another crazy Yorkie person 1/2 block away... |
