wow she is a cutie! I don't really have any personal experience in this. Precious loves to scout around and see what she can find on the floor. She's not really figured out there's a "higher level" of living yet. When we DO put her on the couch she won't jump off she's too chicken. Maybe you can try sitting on the floor playing with her, working w/her when it comes to treats on the floor so she associates being "down" with good things....
I really have no idea but it's worth a shot. Sounds like you have a sweet baby who wants mom and dads love
