I've never even thought about it. Roxie jumps on and off the couch and the recliner all the time...they are some of her favorite spots (she's laying on the couch right now!). She does not come upstairs where the bedrooms are at all, so I don't have to worry about the bed. Mine is very high and I don't think she would even be able to get up on it.
