Well I live in Alaska and we have lots of room here, but she really doesn't do all that much walking either. I'm guessing she's going to miss what little she does do come wintertime, but it's kind of distressing how tired she seems to be all the time.
Although she will get up and follow me if she thinks I am going somewhere. Very clingy. It's rare that I can actually let her sleep somewhere and have her not spring up when she suddenly realizes I am not nearby. So perhaps she's just catnapping?
There aren't any illnesses that Yorkies are prone to that would make them sleep too much then? I don't mind if she's a quiet girl, but I do want to be sure she's healthy. She did get a clean bill from her vet just about two and a half weeks ago, when she had her dental. But I'm not sure my vet sees that many Yorkies.
Maybe I'm not feeding her enough? Don't want to overdo and make her fat though...especially with what little exercise she gives herself. ^_^
She also doesn't drink a lot of water...maybe she's dehydrated?
